McIntyre News - Back in the Ghana!  (updated 18 December 2010)

Brian & Debbie McIntyre, along with Tommy, Derek, and Jessi, are back in Accra, Ghana, West Africa, to serve their next two years as missionaries with Fellowship International Mission.

Brian is the Field Director of FIM-Ghana, which has adopted a three-pronged focus for ministry:  orphan care, medical care, and church planting.  In addition to leading FIM-Ghana, Brian & Debbie will be heading up the orphan ministry.  They have recently opened the House of Mercy (HOMe) Children's Home, an infant / hospice children's home in nearby Ogbojo; they also have two abandoned, abused, or ill children in their own home with them.  The HOMe in Ogbojo is being staffed by Pastor William and Priscilla Deku at the Echoing Hills Community.

FIM-Ghana has commissioned Pastor Kofi Gaisie, a Ghanaian pastor, to head up the church planting ministry; he will also pastor Frafraha Baptist Church as their full-time pastor.

Nurse Dinah Kwao heads up the medical ministry.  Dinah makes regular visits to a number of rural villages, assisting with child health care and immunizations, as well as other health care needs of the villages.  She will also be helping care for the needs of the infants in the children's home.
